Boscov’s Department Stores in New York State
As of December 2025, Boscov’s operates five locations across New York State, making it one of the key retail
anchors in upstate and central regions. The family-owned chain continues to expand, with the newest store in Rochester marking its 51st
overall location nationwide. Here are the current New York stores, listed roughly from east to west.
Clifton Park (Capital Region)
Address: 22 Clifton Country Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065
Located in Clifton Park Center mall, this store serves the Albany-Saratoga area with a full range of departments
similar to other locations. It’s a popular spot for shoppers in the northern Capital District.
Albany/Colonie (Capital Region)
Address: 131 Colonie Center, Albany, NY 12205
Situated in the busy Colonie Center mall, this location offers extensive clothing, cosmetics, home goods, and services like optical
and gift registry. It’s one of the chain’s higher-volume stores in New York due to its proximity to the state capital.
Binghamton (Southern Tier)
Address: 11 Court Street, Binghamton, NY 13901
This is Boscov’s flagship store in New York and one of the chain’s most historic locations. Housed in a multi-level downtown building
(formerly Fowler’s), it features five retail floors and has been a cornerstone of Binghamton since 1983. Known for its vast selection
and community events, it’s the largest Boscov’s in the state by floor space.
New Hartford (Central New York)
Address: 8555 Seneca Turnpike, New Hartford, NY 13413 (Sangertown Square mall)
Opened in 2016 in the former Sears space, this remains the closest Boscov’s for Syracuse/Onondaga County residents
(about 50 miles east). It includes popular features like a hearing aid center and frequent sales events.
Rochester/Greece (Western New York)
Address: 294 Greece Ridge Center Drive, Rochester, NY 14626 (The Mall at Greece Ridge)
The newest addition, this 175,000-square-foot store opened in October 2025 in the former Burlington space, becoming Boscov’s first
location in Western New York and its fifth in the state. It brought over 250 jobs to the area and features modern updates while
maintaining the chain’s signature value pricing, full-service departments, military discounts, and community focus. The opening marked
a major retail boost for the Rochester region.
All New York Boscov’s stores share core offerings: apparel for all ages, shoes, jewelry, beauty, home furnishings,
toys, and brands like Levi’s, Tommy Hilfiger, and Lancôme. Most include additional amenities such as optical departments, travel
agencies, candy shops, and curbside pickup. Hours typically run until 9 or 10 PM, with variations by location—check the official site
for exact details.
While no locations exist in Downstate New York, Buffalo, or the North Country, these five stores cover much of
Upstate, drawing shoppers from across the state for Boscov’s reputation of competitive prices and traditional department store service.
